We recently received news from Washington that we are offering some new E-Teacher courses, our online graduate courses for English teaching professionals:
The seven courses available for Spring 2010 are: 1. Teaching English to Young Learners,
2. Teaching English for Specific Purposes,
3. Building Teaching Skills Through the Interactive Web,
4. Methods I: Survey of Best Practices in TESOL, Methods II:
5. Developing EFL Literacy through Project Based Learning,
6. Critical Thinking, and
7. Assessment
The classes require a minimum of ten hours of work per week, for approximately ten weeks. Participants need a high level of English proficiency and a reliable Internet connection in a location where they can work thoughtfully. Scholarships are competitive.
